My name is Nasir Reid, and I am a Graphic Designer. Graphic design is my favorite type of art to create, because I have a hard time creating art by hand due to my bad handwriting, so being able to create art digitally makes everything a lot easier and more accessible for me. As a graphic designer, my process of creating a design is to find images or pieces of a design and organize and stylize them in order to create a new design. The type of images I like to use the most are images from Anime, cartoons, and video games. Anime, cartoons, and video games are my biggest influences for art because they have been my biggest hobbies since I was young, and they all come in their own different styles of art, so there are nearly endless ways to incorporate them into graphic design. My favorite design I like to create are posters, since I have free reign when making a poster, unless given a prompt or theme, and I like letting my creativity run wild. However, I would love to incorporate my creativity and influences into more professional designs, and expand my craft by gaining more experience in the graphic design industry.
